FrontierPC Canada began over 30 years ago as a typical computer store in the 1990s. Since then, we have evolved into one of Canada's established B2B technology providers, serving businesses, governments, and educational institutions across the country.
Our core product offering includes computers, workstations, servers, networking, storage, security, surveillance, cloud services, virtualization, and related IT infrastructure.
We believe one of the main reasons for our long-term success is the strength of our sales and technical teams. Many of our staff have been with FrontierPC for years, and we continue to invest in training as technology products, services, cybersecurity requirements, and business needs continue to change.
We also support customers across Canada through a national distribution network, allowing us to provide fast delivery from major centres including Richmond, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Halifax.
FrontierPC works with many leading technology vendors and maintains certifications and partnerships with companies including HP, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, Zebra, Dell, Microsoft, Star Micronics, Fortinet, Intel, Honeywell, and Datalogic.
Over time, our business has expanded beyond hardware.
Through FrontierMSP, we provide complete professional IT services for small and medium-sized businesses, including managed IT support, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, cloud services, backup, network and server management, monitoring, and ongoing technical support. This allows us to support customers not only when they purchase technology, but throughout the full lifecycle of their IT environment.
More recently, we have expanded again through FrontierAI.cloud, focusing on practical AI solutions for real business operations.
Our approach to AI is based on a simple principle: AI is most valuable when it can take over work that would otherwise require significant human time, while the result can still be reviewed and verified efficiently by people.
This may include document processing, quotation and proposal preparation, tender and RFP analysis, knowledge search, information extraction, customer requests, and other repetitive business workflows.
We are also bringing AI directly into the FrontierPC customer experience. In addition to traditional keyword, model, part-number, and specification-based product search, customers can increasingly use natural language to describe what they are looking for. Logged-in customers may also be able to use their own purchasing history to help identify suitable replacement or comparable products.
The search results remain presented through the familiar FrontierPC product pages, allowing customers to review, compare, filter, quote, and purchase in the normal way.
Today, FrontierPC brings together three areas of technology:
- FrontierPCIT Hardware & Infrastructure
- FrontierMSPManaged IT & Cybersecurity
- FrontierAI.cloudPractical AI for Business Operations
Together, these capabilities allow us to support customers from hardware procurement and IT management through to the practical adoption of AI.
Our Vancouver branch is also an authorized Lenovo warranty service centre.
